This is the fifth volume of tracks from Sussman's ongoing project, based on an ever-expanding music-generation software program he created.

These tracks apply geometrical operations to a melody represented as points on pitch-time grid. The code names Sussman chose for the different techniques used in these experiments are evocative: "Game of Life," "gravity," "chime," "grid flow," "splicer symmetry," "sources wander," "sources flutter."

From these abstract premises, Sussman creates a lively, quirky, distinctive music.
